Home Creator Service

When the walls are already standing, it still makes a big difference whether the end result will be just a house or a real home. This is what the architects and interior designers in our office strive for; from the very beginning, they focus on understanding and fulfilling genuine needs, so that the property truly becomes a home. We believe that building is not a process of pain and suffering, but can be a lifelong experience—perhaps one of the most interesting ways to deepen relationships and get to know each other.

Most of us tend to view the property itself as the goal when it comes to construction. Amidst all the unexpected tasks, it’s very easy to forget that the real aim was to create a home. For this, tranquility and perfect predictability are essential. In our experience, uncontrollable contractors, the constant need for decision-making, and the uncertainty felt during construction often put the most important relationships under pressure.

Mistaken cost estimates due to lack of information, miscalculated schedules, shifting of responsibility, and an end result that you only half love are all much more common than you might think. If you start the process without reliable professional planning expertise, in addition to your usual tasks, you’ll find yourself facing a host of new and very unpleasant situations, casting a shadow over the entire construction. Maybe you, too, know someone whose relationship broke down while building their dream home. Yet, this could have been avoided relatively easily.

Creating a home and building can also be a creative process, full of joy and exciting challenges that do not destroy, but on the contrary, strengthen personal relationships among those involved. Our clients expect from us that not only the end result, but the construction process itself should be a positive experience. That is our promise, and these are not empty phrases—our clients’ feedback shows that we keep our word. The nearly 30-year-old Geppetto design method does not focus on luxury or the designer’s self-expression, but rather on making the design and construction process as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. With our Architect Package, we can help with architectural solutions as well, so you can count on us from the first ideas to the final touches!

Our services that make up a personalized interior design package.

Designer Consultation gives you answers to smaller interior design questions. For example, if you need to design a specific piece of furniture in an almost finished apartment, or if a room is missing colors or decorative elements.

There are cases when the client has the skills and time to think through and research the furnishings, and is well on their way to realizing their dream home, but gets stuck and needs guidance. That’s when we come in, offering a few ideas to give extra momentum to the process already underway. We call this design process hourly consultation. After our initial conversation, we provide a quote that includes an estimated number of hours, based on the agreed workload. If additional hours are needed, we will notify you in advance during the process.

It is also possible to book a consultation only, during which we share the best of our nearly 30 years of experience, packed into an intensive 3-hour meeting—with ideas, sketches, and 2 designers.
Consultation at our office: 195,000 HUF

The goal of the interior designer’s concept plan is to find the spatial relationship system that best fits the clients’ needs, possibilities, and objectives, while also examining and comparing what the property itself allows for.

Concept-level planning of the area to be designed, according to the preliminary discussions. We define functions, spatial connections, and furniture layouts on floor plans and simplified visual sketches, displaying the arrangement of functional zones, as well as providing guidance on colors and harmonies—we can assist with all of these!

How does the process work?

Our concept planning starts with an analysis: for existing spaces, we carry out a survey to show the starting point. This is followed by a “question bath,” then we provide a selection of images. The point is that you receive a variety of images with different colors and styles, and we will discuss them together. You can share what you like, what you dislike, and what the photos and colors mean to you. Next, we start preparing floor plan variations, but the conversation doesn’t end there—we want to know which version you can imagine your life and your use of space in. It’s important for us to know how many people will live (or are living) in the interior, your dynamic, and any problem areas. This is how the concept plan is put together, showing the best possible solutions within your possibilities.

  • Concept-level planning of the most important spaces identified during consultations, along with related motifs.
  • Floor plans and visual sketches illustrating the arrangement of the spaces to be created and their designated functions.
  • Guidance on surface materials, colors, and harmonies.
  • Consultation for 2-3 people at the Geppetto office in District II.
  • On-site or co-designer consultation for 1-2 people, either at the construction site or the co-designer’s office.
  • Floor plans – sketches.
  • Visual sketches – simple massing diagrams of the main views without exact textures.
  • Plans are prepared with continuous consultation, so changes can be made for each room after reviewing the details.

Our best value design package—an advanced version of the concept plan—builds on the guiding harmonies established in the concept phase. Starting from the concept plan, here the visual aspect becomes a priority: we present the visually important structures, technologies, and materials. In many cases, further designer consultations or detailed construction drawings may be required during execution.

The Style Plan is colorful, spectacular, and rich in detail.
Beyond the elements listed in the Concept Plan, we precisely define on the floor plan the materials, colors, and products to be used (with their exact names). We create a lighting plan, and in the case of a kitchen, you can even request detailed furniture drawings.

As a result, you will receive a highly detailed and visually impressive, colorful 3D rendering. We hand this over to our clients, who can then independently source the tiles, lamps, faucets, and all the other necessary products.

Of course, here too there is the possibility for multi-person consultations at the Geppetto office, on site, or at the recommended supplier—these can all be tailored to our clients’ needs and the specific project.

During the meeting, the concept plans are presented in person, with a personal presentation and plan overview. Since the plans are developed with continuous consultation, changes can be made for each room after reviewing the individual plan sections.

Why should you request a Style Plan?
In a nutshell: because it is the essence of interior design expertise. For those who want to go even further—such as learning how to request accurate quotes, hold contractors accountable, or manage a construction or major renovation so that it’s a positive experience rather than a stressful one—we recommend visiting the Interior Design Plan page.

The interior design package is a comprehensive documentation suitable for requesting detailed contractor quotes, which, once received, allows you to start the implementation with a good general contractor.

The interior design plans are broken down by trades and contain all the necessary information so that each expert can calculate an accurate price for their area. Later, the contractor cannot raise prices, as all details have been specified in advance. In addition to the cost, deadlines and quality can also be controlled and enforced with our interior design plans. This is reassuring not only because you stay in control and are not at the mercy of the contractor, but also because you can precisely schedule the financing of your construction, and in case of a price dispute, you can compare the plans with the final result.

Why is it worth considering an interior design plan?
Beyond the fact that we provide you with a complex set of documentation, you will also have the opportunity for multiple personal consultations at the Geppetto office in District II, as well as two on-site meetings or with the co-designer, and one or two meetings with the contractor or suppliers.

We guide you through requesting contractor quotes and the necessary consultations, including with two recommended contractors. We also help you request quotes for the specified materials, contacting one supplier for each material.

In addition to the floor plans, colored floor plans, elevations and colored elevation drawings, we also prepare a lighting plan, schedules and material lists for furniture and wallpapers. You will also receive a furnishing plan that shows not only the main dimensions, characteristics, materials, and functions of the furniture but also their material designations. The plans you receive from us are suitable for implementation and contain the information needed for carpentry manufacturing drawings. In addition, we specify all visually important elements, such as sanitary ware, lighting fixtures, furniture, interior doors, and accessories.

With our interior design plan, you will receive such a detailed and comprehensive solution for (re)defining your home that it not only guides you toward your dreams but also gives you great security during the realization. This way, construction or renovation won’t be about stress and frustration, but a fantastic experience, and we will be there with you every step of the way.
