Spirit Residence reimagined – From average apartment to refined living space
In the Spirit Residence project, the original design plan divided the apartment into several smaller areas, which did not reflect the lifestyle intentions of the owners. Based on their unique needs, the apartment was divided into two large, interconnected spaces, creating a harmonious, personalized living environment where functionality and aesthetics are in balance.
Natural materials such as wood and raw stone, along with distinctive wallpapers, play a defining role in the apartment’s atmosphere. A thoughtfully designed lighting system and modern mechanical solutions ensure the comfort of the residents and practical use of the spaces.
The living room and the kitchen-dining area share an open space, where the extra-comfy sofa and the 7.1 home theater system ensure entertainment for the residents. Thanks to the multiroom sound system, music flows throughout the home, gently accompanying everyday life. Hidden solutions dominate the kitchen design – every functional element is discreetly integrated, with only the coffee machine placed on the counter to preserve the clean look. The kitchen counter is made of marble composite, offering an aesthetic and durable surface for everyday use. The suspended drywall ceiling above the kitchen hides the extractor fan, contributing to the modern, sleek appearance.
Temperature control in the apartment is ensured by a ceiling cooling-heating system, complemented by underfloor heating in the wet areas, creating a pleasant climate in all seasons.
A guest restroom near the entrance was also designed, radiating a touch of extravagance – intended by the owners as a surprising yet elegant element of the home. The hallway leading to the restroom conceals a large wardrobe that, in addition to storage, houses a litter box for the two cats, accessible through a small hidden door.
The wife works from home, so a separate office space was included in the apartment. The glass-walled room with sliding doors is acoustically well insulated, ensuring focused work while visually preserving a sense of spaciousness.
The bedroom and office are connected yet separated. In the bathroom, the palm-patterned tiles reflect the owners’ love of nature. A large, built-in double shower ensures comfort.
