A B-mek lámpacsaládot egy plexiből készült csőben elhelyezett fényforrás kétféle állólámpás, illetve falra szerelhető változatai alkotják. A csőben elhelyezett fényforrást egy vékony damil köti össze a plexicsövön kívül elhelyezkedő gyűrűvel. A gyűrű mozgatásakor a fényforrás ellentétes irányba mozdul és első látásra nem is jövünk rá, hogy milyen módon. Az állólámpának kétféle változata létezik, egy kábeles, illetve egy akkumulátoros. Az utóbbi – B-Mek wireless – esetben a töltő a cső aljában helyezkedik el, míg az akkumulátor a fénycső alatt. Ezért néhány órányi használat után úgy tudjuk feltölteni a lemerült akkumulátort, hogy a fénycsövet a plexi cső aljába eresztjük. A B-mek család harmadik tagjaként készítettük el a kábeles állólámpa falra szerelhető változatát.
B-mek lamp
The B-Mek lamp family is composed of two standing and two wall-mounted models. The lamps are composed of a fiberglass tube, a light source, and a control ring. The ring is connected to the light source with a nylon thread – moving the ring up and down the length of the fiberglass tube lifts and lowers the LED light with an inversed motion. Because of the nylon thread, the physical connection between the control ring and the light source is well hidden, even from a small distance. The standing model has two versions – one with running from the electric grid, the other equipped with a battery. This latter – the B-Mek wireless – has a charger hidden in the foot of the lamp and a battery mounted directly in the moving part of the light source. After a few hours use, the lighting part of the B-Mek wireless needs to be lowered to the base of the lamp, where the battery is recharged. B-Mek wireless uses a LED light, and was designed primarily as a mood light. The third member of the B-Mek line is a wall-mounted version of the plugged standing lamp.
B-Mek Lampe
Die Lampe B-Mek beruht sich an eine sehr einfache Idee: der äussere Ring ist bei einem fast unsichtbarem Faden mit den inneren Ring verbindet. Wenn der äussere Ring bewegt ist, bewegt der innere in den anderen Direktion, so die Höhe der Lichtquelle kann nach unserem aktuellen Bedarf verändert werden. Innovativ in seiner Technologie, einzig, raffiniert und elegant in seinem Gestalt, B-Mek ist die ideale Lampe für jede innere Raum, da mit seiner schlanke, Probierglas-gemässer Figur zu jeder Stil passt.
